Compare

Why €34,95 and not a €20 glove?

A cheap BBQ glove looks the same. The difference is in what has been tested and how far it goes up your arm.

The heat-resistant leather gloves go on the moment the fire is lit. Move your BBQ grate, add wood to the fire pit, add logs to the wood stove or stoke your kamado. Wherever hot tools and open flames meet, these gloves give you grip, control and protection.

Made of sturdy suede leather with an extra long 41 cm cuff that also protects your forearm from heat and sparks. Tested to EN 407:2020: in contact with 350°C your hand stays protected for about 15 seconds. Enough to move a grate or add a log.

You receive a complete pair: 2 gloves (left and right). Available in brown and black.

Do not wash, the leather cannot take it. Wipe them with a dry or slightly damp cloth and let them dry at room temperature, out of the sun.

Hang them by the loop next to the stove or on the barbecue, so they are always within reach.

They are tested for contact heat of 350°C (EN 407, level 3): about 15 seconds of protection on direct contact. Ideal for short tasks like moving a grate, adding a log or tipping coals out of the chimney starter.
Suitable for BBQ, kamado, open fireplace, wood stove, fire pit, campfire and oven use. The gloves protect against dry heat, not against steam or hot liquids. For brief contact with hot parts, not for holding for long.
The gloves are one size with a hand length of 22 cm and a hand circumference of 32 cm. The 16 inch (41 cm) long cuff also protects your forearm from heat and sparks. They fit average and larger hands comfortably.
At 350°C about 15 seconds. They are meant for moving something hot. For holding something longer, use tongs.
No, the gloves are not washable. Water and detergent can damage the leather. Wipe off dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth and let them dry well at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
You receive a complete pair: 2 gloves, one for left and one for right. Not a single glove.
EN 407 is the European safety standard for heat-resistant work gloves. An independent European test lab tested these gloves. They score level 4 for burning behaviour and level 3 for contact heat: about 15 seconds of protection at 350°C. Convective heat, radiant heat and metal splashes were not tested.
