Lighting a cigar is best done slowly and with control. That's why many enthusiasts opt for a cigar lighter with a focused torch flame or blue flame: it heats the foot of the cigar more evenly than a standard soft flame.
In this collection you'll find refillable cigar lighters for home, on the go, or as a stylish gift. Some models include extra features such as a built-in cigar punch or holder.
A regular lighter is often less suitable for cigars, as the flame is less focused. A torch lighter or storm lighter gives you more control and helps warm the cigar evenly all around, making the lighting process more enjoyable and ensuring a more consistent start.
A cigar lighter with a torch flame provides a powerful, concentrated flame. Handy when you want to heat the foot of the cigar in a controlled way.
Some cigar lighters come with a cigar punch or cigar cutter. This way, you have everything at hand to prepare and light your cigar.
Many cigar lighters are refillable with butane gas. Use gas with the correct pressure so the flame remains strong and steady.
For refillable cigar lighters, preferably use butane gas 45 PSI. Gas with the correct pressure helps keep the flame strong and steady.
A cigar lighter is made for more control while lighting a cigar. Torch lighters and storm lighters in particular are popular, because they give a directed flame with which you can warm the foot of the cigar calmly.
In this collection you will find various cigar lighters, from compact models to luxury lighters with extra functions such as a cigar punch or cigar cutter. When choosing, pay attention above all to the grip, the size, the number of flames and the way of filling. A model with several flames can be extra powerful, while a compact model is easy to take along.
For the best performance we usually recommend butane gas of 45 PSI for refillable gas lighters. Top the lighter up calmly and let the gas settle briefly after filling before you use it.

A torch lighter or storm lighter is often used for cigars. It produces a focused flame that allows you to gently and evenly heat the foot of the cigar.
A cigar lighter with a punch has a built-in punch or cutter to open the cigar before lighting it. Handy if you don't want to carry a separate cigar cutter or punch.
All cigar lighters in this collection are refillable with lighter gas. Always check the product information of the model you choose.
For most refillable gas lighters we recommend butane gas 45 PSI. Gas with too little pressure can cause a weak or uneven flame. Also see our refill instructions for lighters to refill your lighter properly.
A jet flame burns clean and hot, so the foot lights evenly without you tasting fuel. An ordinary yellow flame burns incompletely and leaves a taste on the first part of the cigar.
A small bore that makes a round hole in the head of the cigar instead of cutting it off. That keeps the wrapper intact and gives a tighter draw. Some of these lighters have one built in.
Hold the flame an inch or so below the foot instead of against it, turn the cigar around and let the heat do the work. Only draw once the edge is glowing all round, then it burns through evenly.
